Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in Black Pearl color gets a release date

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in Black Pearl brings the official color count to a very appropriate seven today, and this shade is meaningful.

It’s meant to be an answer to that Jet Black iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus that just about every Apple fan was clamoring for three months ago.

Samsung’s best phone for 2016 in an all-black color gives Android owners a way to showboat a similar glossy design and then tout its curves.

Apple isn’t expected to launch a curved phone until iPhone 8, at least according to the latest rumors. That means S7 Edge Black Pearl buyers get a nine-month headset with their shiny black phone and its memorizing curved screen.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Black Pearl release date

You’re not going to be able to get a 32GB or even a 64GB Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in Black Pearl. The new color is exclusive to a bigger 128GB Edge.

However, you can get the phone very soon. Rhe Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Black Pearl release date is December 9 in “select markets,” according to the company.

Other recent color additions include August’s Pink Gold and November’s Blue Coral – our favorite Samsung Galaxy Note 7 color brought back from the dead.

But this may be the last new color to grace the Samsung’s S7 Edge handset. It’ll launch the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Edge and Note 8 next year. We already know that for sure.

Plus, with White Pearl, Black Onyx, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium rounding out the list for the S7 Edge, seven colors has a nice symmetry to it.
